Teachers will be provided with knowledge of effective questioning techniques and assessment frameworks to support literacy outcomes for their students. Teachers will learn how to successfully and practically implement quality and informative questioning techniques to assess student understanding as well as promote deeper knowledge of texts and text themes. Teachers will be shown how applying these questioning frameworks and strategies can significantly impact the amount of student assessment data that is gained from student responses. Teachers will have time to workshop and apply questioning strategies using quality texts to develop assessment and learning activities that they can apply in their classrooms.
